The 2011 GMC SIERRA 1500 is available in 5 different trim levels (Work Truck, SL, SLE, SLT, and XTRA Fuel Economy) and three different cab styles (Regular, Extended, or Crew). The Regular and Extended Cab have the option of a Standard, 78.7” or Long 97.8” Box, the Crew Cab comes with a Short Box 69.3”. The Work Truck trim comes standard with a Vortec 4.3L V6 MFI Engine, and is available with Vortec 4.8L V8 SFI FlexFuel Engine, or Vortec 5.3L V8 Flex-fuel Engine. The SL trim comes standard with Vortec 4.8L V8 SFI FlexFuel Engine. The SLE trim is standard with Vortec 4.8L V8 SFI FlexFuel Engine and is also available with a Vortec 5.3L V8 Flex-fuel Engine. The SLT and XTRA Fuel Economy trim levels come standard with a Vortec 5.3L V8 Flex-fuel Engine. The Work Truck, SL, SLE come standard with a 4-Speed Automatic Transmission. The SLT and XTRA Fuel Economy come standard with a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission. All Engine levels come available 2WD or 4WD. The GMC Sierra ranges in fuel economy from 13mpg to 15mpg city, and 18mpg to 21mpg hwy.
